Events Volunteer
Help out at a Release International event near you

Could you help us on a stand at a Christian event?
Events Volunteers support our staff on exhibition stands at events around the UK. They play a key role in raising the voice of persecuted Christians and calling UK Christians into fellowship with them.
This role will include:
- Attending an annual Christian conference or event, for anything between a day and seven days, to help us promote Release International’s ministry;
- Talking to new and current supporters on the stand;
- Having some basic training to understand Release International’s ministry and how the exhibition stand will be run;
- Inviting conference delegates to sign up to receive our regular information;
- Promoting our free quarterly magazine, Voice;
You will need good social skills and be a good conversationalist to do this work.
We value our volunteers and will commit to pray for you on a regular basis. We will send you any resources you need, free of charge, such as a Release International branded T-shirt and name badge to wear on the stand. You will have one-to-one support and feedback before, during and after the exhibition event. We will also provide you with volunteering information, our Volunteers’ Handbook and a quarterly newsletter. We will reimburse any agreed expenses you incur. You will also have the opportunity to attend seminars at the event and benefit from some of the Bible teaching there.
So how do you become an Events Volunteer?
You must be aged 18 or above;
You must agree with our Faith and Policy statements and our Volunteer Charter.
Just email us here and we will send you more information.
Once we have two positive references, one from your church leader and one from a friend who has known you for more than two years, we will arrange an online video call with you.
