FABULOUS FUNDRAISERS
From singing to swimming, Release International supporters step up to help their persecuted family
 Choir voice concern for oppressed
A carol concert in Northern Ireland raised a fantastic £1,500 for our work with persecuted believers. The event, which is performed every year by the King’s Chorale group (pictured), was held at Albertbridge Congregational Church in East Belfast.
Release International was one of two organisations to be represented and to benefit from the fundraiser.
During the evening our Engagement Manager for Northern Ireland, Stephen McIlroy, shared about the work of the ministry in general while particularly highlighting the plight of Christians in India who are facing increasing oppression.
Morning stars
A big thank you to Albertbridge church and King’s Chorale for such a wonderful evening.
A Christmas craft and coffee morning held by the women of First Ballyeaston Presbyterian Church in Northern Ireland raised a total of £820 to help persecuted Christians.
• A special thanks also to supporter Anne Greig who completed a 22-mile swimming challenge over several weeks to raise more than £2,000, half of which will go to Release International.
Our thanks to members of the Women Together group at the church who put on the event.
 Perfect match
We are delighted to report a very generous response to our recent campaign, which raised the voice of persecuted Christians facing oppression and violence around the world. Thank you to every supporter who made a gift and especially to the anonymous donors who provided £20,000 to match fund donations.
