Holmgate Evangelical Church young people responded to the plight of persecuted Christians
Youngsters take a shot
at coffee fundraiser –
with amazing results!
Curtain up
on drama’s
2024 run
Moved by the plight of persecuted Christians – especially those in prison
for their faith – the young people’s group at Holmgate Evangelical
Church in Chesterfield organised a fundraising coffee morning.
The result? A fantastic £500 to help persecuted believers!
As well as putting on a marvellous spread of mouthwatering cakes and
other edible goodies, the fellowship donated numerous toys, books and
games for sale.
A big thank you to everyone at Holmgate, especially the young people who put
their concern for the persecuted into practice.
• Our thanks also to supporters Graham and Marina Davis who raised
£300 for persecuted Christians by holding not one, not two, but three
coffee mornings in their home!

Performances of Artless Theatre
Company’s moving production, which
tells the story of Release International
partner Petr Jasek’s 2015
imprisonment in Sudan, are being
planned for this year. Confirmed early
dates are: ‘The Few Conference for
Evangelists’ in Yarnfield on January
23 and Birmingham City Church on
January 24.
