Heavenly Father,
Lord of heaven and earth,
You see me, You care for me.
Though I walk through
the valley of the shadow of
death, I need not be afraid
because You are with me
(Psalm 23).
Father, remind those in my
persecuted church family
who feel forgotten and
afraid that You love them
deeply. Reassure them that
all things are possible in You.
Thank You that in our
weakness, Your strength is
made perfect.

OCTOBER 2023 PAKISTAN
SUNDAY 1: Pray for Christians in
Maryam Town, Sargodha district,
Punjab, where thousands
fled their homes after posters
offensive to Islam were pasted
on mosque walls in July, sparking
protests.
MONDAY 2: Pray for the family
of Abdul Rauf, a young English
teacher who was shot dead in
Turbat, Balochistan province,
in August after being accused of
blasphemy by his students.
TUESDAY 3: Pray for justice for
Imran Rehman who has been
charged with blasphemy, and
more recently terrorism, over
material he is alleged to have
posted via a social-messaging
service. He denies all charges.
WEDNESDAY 4: Pray for Christian
converts from Islam in Pakistan
who are often persecuted by
family members. ‘Jameela’
(pictured) had to flee from her
husband when he threatened to
kill her and their sons after she
turned to Christ.
