MEDIA FOLLOWING FOR ALL OUT FOR GOD
TV and radio join call to pray for the persecuted during lockdown
‘Lockdown gives us the opportunity to take our identification with the persecuted church to the next level.’ – Release CEO, Paul Robinson
There has been widespread interest in the media for All Out for God – Release International’s call to stand in solidarity with the persecuted Church.
This Sunday, May 24, Release is calling on Christians around the UK to step out of their homes and pray for Christians locked out of public worship by persecution around the world.
Christians in many countries are forbidden from meeting in churches. Some have been thrown out of their church buildings, others have had their churches burned down. Many are forced to meet in secret.
So Release is staging All Out for God as an opportunity to identify with Christians in lockdown.
As well as a live Facebook event at 3pm, believers are being encouraged to step out of their doors – observing social distancing – and pray for Christians under pressure.
Among the media outlets covering the event are Revelation TV in a special edition of Church Without Walls, which goes out at 10.30am and 8.30pm on Sunday and is repeated the following day at 1pm.

Premier Radio and UCB are also reporting on All Out for God. And Trans World Radio is running an extended interview with Release International’s Andrew Boyd.
You can hear that interview with Holly Cook on the TWR website, or listen to it below.
Release also gave a brief video statement to an Italian Christian website.
