Samuel and Adam – Pakistan

Samuel and his son Adam were badly injured during the Easter 2016 Lahore bombing.

Both of them are still struggling to survive over one year on.

Adam is 7 years old and still has pieces of shrapnel embedded in his arm. His father Samuel also had a serious chest injury and showed me a large red scar that runs from his heart down to his stomach. Samuel lost his job when he was injured in that horrific attack which killed over 70 people and a year later he is still unable to find work to provide for his family.

He has now developed other health problems, including mental health issues, which seriously affect his ability to work. And his situation is getting worse.

When we visited them we prayed for Samuel and his son; and our hope is that you will pray for them too.

What’s more, we hope that you will reach out and help them and other survivors of the Easter 2016 Lahore bombing by making a gift to Release today.

You see, Samuel told us that he would like to re-train as a clerk so that he can try to find a desk job and earn enough to feed his family.

During a recent visit to Pakistan we saw first hand how Release partners were putting your generous gifts to work to help persecuted Christians such as Samuel and their families.

But, there are still so many Christians who are hurting in Pakistan and who need our support and our prayers.
