Reflection for Cross Rhythms radio
Christmas plans may have gone out the window this year, but the meaning of Christmas remains the same – Christ came, for all.
His name is Emmanuel – God with us. And while our families may not be able to join us this year, Emmanuel has never left.
For our persecuted brothers and sisters that is a comfort.
But for the church under pressure, Christmas means so much more than just comfort. To celebrate the coming of Christ can take courage.
Cross Rhythms radio asked Andrew Boyd to comment on the meaning of Christmas for the persecuted church worldwide.
