Ultra Challenge 2020

Take a challenge AND help your persecuted family!

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: Please check the Ultra Challenge Covonavirus Update page for all the latest news about how the current Covid-19 pandemic is affecting Ultra Challenge events. Currently the events below are unaffected BUT THIS COULD CHANGE so please check the Coronavirus Update page for all the latest information.

Over 30,000 will do an Ultra Challenge in 2020, with a range of ages, fitness, and experience. Walk, Jog, or Run, with no obstacles, mud, or gimmicks – just trails, hills, and great British scenery – and you’ll get the best support on any endurance style event, enabling you to go further!

Ultra Challenges are fun, engaging, social, rewarding, and energising with personal boundries often re-shaped. Many link their Challenge with fundraising for a charity of their choice; so far the Series has helped raise over £25 million for good causes.

Ultras are the New Marathons – Push Yourself Further and support your chosen charity at the same time!

This year Release was promoting five challenges but now we are down to THREE for you to choose from:

June 27: COTSWOLD WAY CHALLENGE (Bath – Cheltenham)

July 4: PEAK DISTRICT CHALLENGE (Bakewell – Bakewell)

Unfortunately the COTSWOLD WAY CHALLENGE and PEAK DISTRICT CHALLENGE have both been cancelled because of the coronavirus restrictions. Please consider the other challenges that are being organised for later this year. Thank you for your interest in fundraising for Release International!

August 29: SOUTH COAST CHALLENGE (Eastbourne – Arundell)

September 9: THAMES PATH CHALLENGE (Putney – Henley)

September 9: THAMES BRIDGES TREK (Putney Bridge – Tower Bridge, 16 bridges in all)

All the details can be found below. Click to expand…
