 AFGHANISTAN:
Fearing an inevitable rise in persecution, many Christians fled to neighbouring countries when the Taliban regained power in Afghanistan in 2021.
NORTH KOREA: Practising Christian faith is forbidden in North Korea. As a
result some Christians have defected and live undercover in China or make the perilous journey through South East Asia to South Korea.
