talks that combine biblical truth with the
lived-out experience of persecuted Christians.

are flexible and able to respond to
your particular circumstances. For
example, we can preach during a
Sunday service, share at a mid-week
prayer meeting or speak at a special
mission-focused event. We can visit in
person or share at an online meeting.
We always aim to communicate in
a dynamic and engaging way ¬–
teaching clearly, sharing compelling
testimonies, using images and video
when relevant and presenting a
challenge to respond. We also bring a
selection of books and other helpful
resources with us and are pleased to
speak to people after the meeting.

Release International raises the
voice of persecuted Christians
in many different ways: through
our quarterly magazine, social
media channels, our podcast and
at exhibitions and special events.
One other essential way in which
we communicate the voice of our
persecuted family is by personally
visiting local churches across the
country.
In his second and third New
Testament letters the Apostle John
wrote about his desire not just to
write but also to meet with believers
face to face (2 John 12, 3 John 13-
14). We believe this is an essential
element of Christian ministry
that deepens communication and
recognises the value of fellowship.
Release International has a dedicated
team of regional Engagement
Managers supported by several
trained Volunteer Speakers based
across the UK. Over the course of a
year we visit hundreds of churches
and Christian groups in our regions
to share current news and testimony
from our partners on the ground,
and to bring a biblical perspective to
the wider subject of persecution. We
have found that when we present the
perspective of biblical truth together
with the contemporary experiences of
our persecuted brothers and sisters,
many of our preconceived ideas as
21st century western Christians are
powerfully challenged. When we
learn lessons of discipleship with
persecuted Christians our perspective
is changed and our walk with Christ
strengthened.
