Manipur state, the target of
widespread violence in June
as protesters in the mostly
Hindu Meitei community

status. Almost 200 people
were killed and 60,000

of ethnic Kuki Christian
Domkhohoi Haokip who was
killed in church as she prayed
after Meitei gunmen invaded
her village, Khoken, during
widespread violence in June.

religious rights are violated.

a strong witness to all those

needing sanctuary, which is
