heed pastors’ calls for greater
protection for Christian
communities nationally.
FRIDAY 29: Ta’azia’s home
(pictured) was badly
damaged when Fulani
militants attacked her village.
Thank God that Ta’azia’s home
has been repaired: pray for
the thousands of others now
living in camps for displaced
people.
SATURDAY 30: Cry out to
God for an end to the brutal
persecution of Christians in
Nigeria which has lasted two
decades now.
SUNDAY 31: On the eve of a new
year, let’s ask God to reassure
our persecuted church family
that He has done, and will do
again, ‘wonderful things, plans
formed of old, faithful and
sure’ (Isaiah 25:1, ESV).
Lord Jesus
Prince of Peace, You came to
restore all that is broken. In You,
all things are made new.
Lord, bring peace to troubled
nations, reconcile warring
communities, bind up broken
hearts.
Please fill my persecuted family
with all joy and peace as they
trust You so that they ‘may
overflow with hope by the power
of the Holy Spirit’ (Romans
15:13).
Your kingdom come, Your will
be done.
Amen
