Prayer Co-ordinator

Become a ‘Prayer Champion’ on behalf of our persecuted family

Prayer 01

Could you raise prayer support?

Prayer Co-ordinators initiate prayer for persecuted Christians. They play a key role in raising the voice of persecuted Christians and calling UK Christians into fellowship with them. Running a regular prayer group in your church or area is a great way of doing this.

Prayer Co-ordinators should have the support of their church, so we require a positive reference from a church leader as well as one from a friend.

We value our volunteers and will commit to pray for you on a regular basis. We send any resources you need, free of charge, and will let you know what other people have found effective. We will also provide you with volunteering information, our Volunteers’ Handbook and a quarterly newsletter. We send other prayer resources, such as our email alerts, prayer map and weekly updates from partners around the world. We can also publicise your prayer group to other supporters in your area if you wish.

We will provide you with appropriate training and will reimburse any agreed expenses you incur.

So how do you become a Prayer Co-ordinator?

You must be aged 18 or above;
You must agree with our Faith and Policy statements and our Volunteer Charter.

Just email us here and we will send you more information. Once we have a positive reference from your church leader we will arrange an online video call with you.

Once we have two positive references, one from your church leader and one from a friend who has known you for more than two years, we will arrange an online video call with you.
