Church Contact

Become the point of contact for representing Release International in your church.

Church Contact

Could you be our main point of contact in your church?

Church Contacts are those who would like to represent the ministry of Release International in their home church, but who are not able to commit to a full volunteering role. They inform their church about the persecution of Christians around the world and act as a key contact for any Release International communications.

This might include giving out our free quarterly magazine, Voice, and publicising upcoming events, such as the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP).

Church Contacts should have the support of their church, so we require a positive reference from a church leader. Church Contacts remain accountable to their church and will abide by any of its policies and procedures.

We value our volunteers and will commit to pray for you on a regular basis. We send any resources you need, free of charge, and will let you know what other people have found effective. We will also provide you with volunteering information, our Volunteers’ Handbook and a quarterly newsletter. We will provide you with appropriate training, on-going support and will reimburse any agreed expenses you incur.

So how do you become a Church Contact?

You must be aged 18 or above;
You must agree with our Faith and Policy statements and our Volunteer Charter.

Just email us here and we will send you more information. Once we have a positive reference from your church leader we will arrange an online video call with you.
