HASSAN JOHN – BIOGRAPHY

Nigeria Hassan John
Rev Hassan John

Hassan John is a Nigerian-born journalist, community development worker and Anglican minister. In 2014 he broke the news of the abduction of 276 girls by the Islamist group Boko Haram in Chibok.

In north-east Nigeria he has worked among those displaced by violence, assisting vulnerable children to receive an education and enabling young men and women to become active members of their local communities.

He trains pastors in Christian apologetics, addressing the difficult questions of suffering. He also spearheads the re-training of pastors and church workers to share the gospel in areas dominated by radical Islamists.

Hassan is married with four children.
