Pray for earthquake survivors

In the wake of the recent devastating earthquake, the focus of the world has been on Türkiye and northern Syria where, at the time of writing, more than 33,000 people are reported to have died. In addition, tens of thousands of survivors have been left homeless. Please join us in praying that survivors, including Christians in affected areas, will receive basic necessities such as food and blankets.

UPDATES

Remember Raymond

Kidnapped Pastor Raymond Koh Picture Release International and Koh family

This week marks the sixth anniversary of the disappearance of Pastor Raymond Koh (pictured) in Malaysia. Raymond was abducted off the street in what was described as a military style operation and has not been seen or heard of since.

Responsibility for his kidnapping, which was captured on CCTV, has been laid at the door of the Malaysian Special Branch.

Click here to sign a petition being organised by our sister organisation, The Voice of the Martyrs, USA, which calls on the Malaysian government to explain Raymond’s disappearance.

Evangelist released on bail

Thank God for the release on bail of Lin Xuesui, who was arrested last June by China’s Public Security Bureau after he shared his Christian testimony with villagers in a remote region 2,000 km from his home. He was accused of ‘organising and financing illegal gatherings’.

On January 14, authorities released Lin so that he could return home to care for his father who had contracted Covid.

PRAY

  • Pray for provision and comfort for all survivors, including Christians, and for all who have lost loved ones in the earthquake.
  • That God would comfort and strengthen Raymond’s family as they mark the anniversary of his disappearance. Pray that the truth surrounding his whereabouts would be made known.

PRAISE

  • Thank God for Lin’s release from prison and pray that all charges against him would be dropped
